A few simple steps for more comfortable and longer-lasting hair removal.
For your warm wax hair removal to go as well as possible, a few habits help. Before the session, avoid cutting your hair too short or shaving, and come with clean skin. After the session, avoid heat, direct sun and perfumed products on the area for 24 hours.
Warm wax is well tolerated by most skin types, but some are more reactive. Let us know about very sensitive skin, sunburn, medical treatment or pregnancy. We will adapt our technique, because waxing in Brussels should stay comfortable.

A tingling or pinching sensation is normal at the moment the wax is removed, but it lasts a very short time. It varies with the area, your sensitivity threshold and the time of your cycle, some periods making the skin more reactive.
Our warm wax is designed to be more comfortable than very hot waxes, and we adjust our movements to limit discomfort. If you are anxious, simply say so: we take the time to reassure you and proceed at your pace.
For the wax to grip well, hair should be about 3 to 5 millimetres long, roughly the size of a grain of rice. Too short, and it won't be removed completely; too long, and the hair removal becomes less comfortable and takes longer.
If you are used to a razor, let the hair grow back a few days before your appointment. Don't hesitate to ask us for advice when you book: we tell you how long to wait depending on the area, so that your session takes place in good conditions.
Depending on the person and the area, the skin stays smooth for about three to six weeks, sometimes a little longer. With regularity, hair often grows back finer and sparser, which makes sessions more comfortable over time.
The regrowth rhythm depends on your hair cycles, your diet and your hormones: there is no single rule. We tell you honestly what is generally observed, without unrealistic promises, and we adapt to your lifestyle.
During your period, the skin is sometimes more sensitive, and some clients prefer to wait a few days for more comfort. It is possible, but it may be more painful. Simply tell us what you prefer and we adapt, with no embarrassment or judgement on our part.
During pregnancy, waxing remains possible in many cases, but the skin may be more sensitive. Always let us know about your situation and, if you have the slightest doubt, ask your doctor before booking your session.
