Your safety always comes before the aesthetic result.
In our beauty salon FAQ, health has a special place. Our treatments are aesthetic: they replace neither medical treatment, nor the opinion of a doctor, dermatologist or podiatrist. When a situation calls for caution, we tell you frankly and we adapt or postpone the treatment.
The answers below detail the main contraindications, pregnancy, massages and pedicure. If in doubt about your health, talk to your doctor before booking: it is always the best precaution, and we prefer to advise you to wait rather than offer a treatment that wouldn't suit you.
- contraindications: pregnancy, irritated skin, medical treatment
- massage and pedicure: wellness treatments, not medical care
- if in doubt: ask your doctor before booking
A special situation? Tell us when you book, we adapt.

Answers to the questions we are asked most often.
We offer four worlds: facial treatments (Hydrafacial, microneedling, peel, facial cleansing, hydrating and anti-aging treatments), hair removal (electrolysis, wax, brows), hands and feet (manicure, foot beauty treatment, French, semi-permanent) and massage and body treatments.
We also offer eye treatments, such as the brow lift, henna brows and lash tint, as well as day and evening makeup. Each treatment is presented on its own page, with its procedure, precautions and price.
The simplest is to tell us what you are looking for: clearer skin, more relaxation, lasting hair removal, groomed hands. We then suggest the most suitable treatment, after a short chat and, for the face, a skin diagnosis.
If you are unsure, start with a simple treatment, such as facial cleansing, a hydrating facial or a 20-minute massage. We never push you towards the most expensive treatment: if a simple treatment is enough, we tell you frankly.
Yes, it is even the first step of every facial. We look at your skin in natural light, talk about your routine, your wishes and any sensitivities, in order to choose the treatment and products that suit your skin on the day.
This diagnosis is part of the appointment and costs nothing extra. It also lets us honestly tell you whether the treatment you had in mind is the right one, or whether another would be better suited to what your skin really needs.
Hydrafacial deep-cleanses, gently exfoliates and hydrates. A peel renews the surface of the skin to even out the complexion, and microneedling works deeper by stimulating collagen production to improve texture and scars.
These treatments don't compete with each other, they complement each other. During the diagnosis, we suggest the one that best meets your need at the time, and sometimes a combination spaced out over time, to achieve a harmonious result that respects your skin.
Yes, that is even its great advantage: electrolysis treats the follicle directly, without depending on hair colour. It therefore works on white, grey, blond or red hair, which laser and intense pulsed light cannot treat effectively.
The trade-off is time: it requires more short sessions than a laser treatment, because each hair is treated individually. We honestly explain what can be expected, without ever promising a 100% guaranteed result, because each skin has its own rhythm.
There is no magic number: it depends on the area, the density of the hair, its growth cycle and the history of your hair removal. A small area is often treated faster than a dense one, and we move forward in short 20-minute sessions.
Sessions are first fairly close together, then more and more spaced out. We review progress with you at each appointment and adapt what follows to how the area is evolving, so that you always know where you stand.
You book online in a few clicks, from Tuesday to Saturday, directly on our calendar. You choose your treatment and your time slot, and you receive confirmation of your appointment, without going through an intermediary, without waiting on the phone and without paying a hidden commission.
If you prefer to talk to us before booking, find our contact details on the contact page. We are happy to answer all your questions, whether to choose a treatment, understand a price or organise several treatments on the same day.
Of course, it is even very pleasant: for example a scrub followed by a massage, a manicure and a pedicure one after the other, or a facial then a back massage. Simply book the slots back to back on our online calendar.
Each treatment keeps its own price, with no extra for the combination. Remember to allow enough time between treatments and to mention it when you book, so that we organise your visit as best we can and you are never rushed between two treatments.
Our salon is at 35 Chaussée de Waterloo, in Saint-Gilles. You can come by metro to the Porte de Hal station, or by tram with lines 3, 4 and 51, which serve the area. The journey is easy from Ixelles, Forest, Uccle and the centre.
Remember to arrive a few minutes early, to enjoy a quiet moment before your treatment. Find the map and all the practical information on our contact page, and don't hesitate to ask us your questions before your visit, we always answer with pleasure.
We welcome you from Tuesday to Saturday, by appointment, and we are closed on Sunday and Monday. Available slots are displayed live on our online calendar, which lets you choose the one that suits you best.
Precise opening hours are on our contact page and are updated as soon as they change. If no slot suits you, write to us: we will try to find a solution adapted to your schedule, as far as possible.
If you can't make it, let us know as early as possible, so that we can offer your slot to someone else. The earlier we are told, the easier it is to offer you another date that suits you.
If you are slightly late, keep us informed: we will do our best to carry out the treatment, sometimes adapting it slightly to the remaining time. A significant delay may mean shortening or postponing the treatment, so as not to penalise the following clients.
Yes, all our prices are displayed in advance, on every treatment page and on our prices page. You therefore know what you will pay before booking, and you can compare the different treatments with peace of mind depending on your budget and your time.
We add no hidden extras when you pay. If you have a specific budget, tell us: we recommend the treatment that offers the best balance between effectiveness and price, without ever pushing you towards an option you don't need.
It depends on the treatment, but some situations call for caution: pregnancy, irritated or infected skin, recent sunburn, ongoing medical or dermatological treatment, known allergy. Each treatment page details the precautions specific to that treatment.
Always tell us about your situation when you book or on arrival. We adapt the treatment or postpone it if necessary, and we advise you to ask your doctor if in doubt, because your safety always comes before the result.
Some treatments remain possible during pregnancy, others should be avoided or adapted, such as peels, certain massages or electrolysis. Every situation is different, and we always prefer to be cautious rather than take an unnecessary risk, whatever trimester of pregnancy you are in.
Tell us when you book that you are pregnant, and ask your doctor or midwife for advice before the appointment. We will then offer you the best-suited treatments, such as a gentle hydrating facial, or simply postpone those that are not, without any pressure.
Before the session, come with hair of 3 to 5 millimetres, neither too short nor too long, and with clean skin and no thick cream. Avoid shaving the area in the days before, as the wax needs to be able to grip the hair.
After the session, avoid heat, direct sun, sauna and perfumed products on the area for 24 hours. A gentle scrub a few days later helps prevent ingrown hairs, and a soothing cream is generally enough to calm the skin.
No: our massages are wellness treatments carried out in a beauty salon, with relaxation as the aim. They do not replace a physiotherapy session or medical treatment, which meet a specific health need and are provided by health professionals.
If you have persistent pain, an injury or a health problem, talk to your doctor first. We prefer to tell you frankly: our role is to help you relax in good conditions, not to make a diagnosis or to treat.
No: our pedicure is an aesthetic foot beauty treatment. It includes filing, cuticle care, skin softening, massage and polish application, but it does not treat health problems of the foot, which fall under podiatry.
If you have an ingrown nail, a wart, a fungal infection or pain, see a podiatrist or your doctor first. We prefer to tell you frankly rather than offer a treatment that wouldn't meet your real need.
On average, semi-permanent polish stays flawless for up to three weeks on the hands, depending on how fast your nails grow and how you use your hands. On the feet, it often lasts longer, because toenails grow more slowly.
To make it last, moisturise your cuticles regularly, wear gloves for washing up and avoid using your nails as tools. Never scrape the polish off: we offer professional removal, done gently to preserve your nails and let you start afresh on a good footing.
It depends on the treatment. After a hydrating facial or a Hydrafacial, light make-up is still possible, although we advise letting the skin breathe until the next day. After a peel or microneedling, it is better to wait at least 24 hours.
In all cases, favour gentle products and avoid rubbing the skin. If you have an event right after your treatment, tell us when you book: we adapt the choice of treatment and advise you on the best time to schedule it.
A simple routine at home makes all the difference: gentle cleansing morning and evening, hydration suited to your skin and, above all, daily sun protection. These habits prolong the effect of facials, whichever treatment you have chosen.
For other treatments, we give you precise advice at the end of each session: hydrating the feet, nail upkeep, steps to take after hair removal. Don't hesitate to ask us all your questions, we always take the time to answer.
